Dont know dude havent seen a 24" 1440p but sounds to me like a waste of graphic card fuel...theres a reason why theres only a few 24 1440p monitors

24 is more performanse based...for pvp style games...al the pros play on 1080p 24" and all the tournaments are the same resolution and size...
