With Miiverse closing soon I've been thinking what could Nintendo replace it with and the most obvious answer to me is a share menu for 3DS and Wii U but here is my big question, could the 3DS and Wii U handle livestreaming or would it have to be a record and upload situation?

The Wii U could possibly, but since the 3DS has slow downs while playing in 3D in some games I doubt it could. Doubt they would even bother wasting resources doing that kind of thing for either console.
