Why is my fx6300 only reading 43watts under full load and running 4.2ghz?

1.325v cpu
1.2v nb
1.5v memory

With over clock the cpu says 30-40c and socket says 55-60c

When i disable overclock and load optimized defaults in my bios it still only draws 40w

I wouldn't worry about it. If it's stable and everything works, why worry? Could also be a false reading.

A bit off topic but. I'll be honest. If you have the money, you may want to consider an upgrade once Ryzen v2 is out. FX is being outperformed by Pentium CPUs and even Ryzen's lowest end offerings by a good amount. Just a thought
