While my initial reaction is go Ryzen, I have no idea what prices are like in your country. Could you add them to the poll?

The 7700k and the 1700x are about the same price.
Would like to go the way of the 7800X, but the motherboard is about 2.5X more expensive. Like that the 1700X is an 8 core cpu. Also agree that the 7700k is the best gaming cpu at this moment in time. Poll shows most people going for the 7700k , but as I have always used Intel, I would like to stick it to them and go with a Ryzen 1700X!

Umm for 1440p ofc ryzen.. if 1080p 7700k would have been better
