The lower the better... They start to sound crappy as they are moved up towards head level... And yes, crappy is the correct technical term

I mean i have it raised underneath the table its on the bottom part of my table at my feet but the whole desk starts shaling when the bass kicks in :p

Floor, they are meant to go on the floor they cause vibration and if it’s on the table it will vibrate the table

My sub keeps my station in an earthquake like state., Put it where its separate from your station.

Ideally as low and far away as you can get it. Face the speaker towards the wall, they always sound better bouncing sound off of something instead of facing you directly. If the port is facing you its fine.

if you want your table to vibrate annoyingly, sure. But subwoofers belong on the floor

Gaffa tape it to my head to drown out out the noise of my Mrs whining on about going Christmas shopping.
