Is there any new way to extend foundation placement on rafts again? Like any INI setting?

Yes Structure Collision was the only way that allowed me to build the initial way you used to do it. If there is another way, would love to know about it.

When I first tried it, I could not place any foundations on the raft at the level off the raft.

Means, if you build the foundations at the normal height (instead of lowering them), then you can extend them with then thatch roof method?

One down side to the foundation extension is the item limit for placeable structures are chewed up by each foundations with a 3*3 foundation and one row of ceilings around that I can even boat around a bronto
