Ok, so I posted earlier about my steam controller not working, but the issue seems to be my PC itself. I just tried it on my brothers laptop (practically identical specs, i7 6700, 16gb ram, 1060 3gb etc) and it worked just fine. Does anyone have ANY suggestions as to what can fix this?

Did you buy it recently? If so I would be sending it back

I did, yes, I already got in contact with valve about a replacement, but I'm thinking it's just my PC somehow since I was having issues with my wired 360 controller, and my brothers xbox one controller as well (plugged in via usb)

In device manager it doesn't show up as a controller, it shows up as a keyboard and mouse.

Well if it's not working on either of your computer's I would say the controller has a fault anyway

Gonna try re-installing steam.

No luck with that either, and big picture mode keeps crashing constantly.
