Animal Crossing is catching up to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's 33.41 million units sold. Nintendo has revealed in its latest financial earnings report that the Nintendo Switch has officially passed the 3DS with 79.87 million console units sold and Animal Crossing: New Horizons has officially reached 31.18 million copies sold.
