More then likely a fake card. It has either 4, 8, or 16GB of actual storage. Once you go over that amount of physical storage, your data will corrupt.

It's rediculous that you need a micro SD card for the switch. Couldn't they have just included a USB port so you can attach an external drive, I picked up a 3tb one for my PS4 and that almost full.
