IGN can confirm a Jumanji sequel is in the works at Sony Pictures. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle writers Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner are currently in negotiations to pen the script for the sequel. Director Jake Kasdan is also expected to return as he works with Pinker and Rosenberg on the sequel. The film doesn't have a title, a start date for production, nor a release date yet.
