I've noticed alot of people have issues quickly sliding on the PC version because its hard to reach the control key. I would recommend trying the alt button next to space as its simple to move the thumb between the two. I'm pretty sure its set to 'hold to crouch' by default, so thats nice.

I have a Rival 700 and use my front thumb for super, middle thumb for ability and back thumb for grenade. I dont see slide as a problem.

You have time to take your finger off sprint and hit crouch to slide, there is a delay so it works everytime.
