I plan to use the Skull & Co. grip case, but my issue with it is that the front part of your Joy-Con are still exposed. Over time, this is gonna wear out the matte finish. Is there anything you can maybe spray-paint on it or something to preserve its matte finish...? Someone said to try Turtle Wax, but I'm worried it might damage its electrical components.

its a handheld gaming system, not a piece of art. you shouldint worry too much about the matte finish wearing out

Get a whole house humidifier and wear satin gloves when you play. Stop using soaps and chemicals, as the residue can build up on your hands and be transferred to the Switch, even through gloves.
