I have been considering this it might seem like a simple google search but nothing too thorough came through. I have been thinking of adding a water block to my 1080 strix but I only came across removing the back plate only and if I do remove the back plate I'd really really like to as add water block fan to it. Here's a pic of what I'd like to get done to it. And If so is this possible to get this done.
