I use air duster and some small paint brushes to get most everything. If it won’t brush/blow off, you can use rubbing alcohol and a soft toothbrush.

Buy dust spray... shake it and make sure when you spray it its upside down.

The dust acts as insulation to keep your components from freezing up during the winter

Fill with tide pods for added insulation

Water isn't the worst idea ever, I have showered a few GPUs in my time, I was always inpatient and used a heat gun to dry them out afterwards, and was always lucky enough to have them work fine, but it's safer to let them sit and dry for a week afterwards
