Hi there, if I'd be at 3600sr and I'll drop for inactivity, does that mean that I'll be placed lower next season?

Not necessarily. If your placement matches go well enough, when you’ve decayed down to 3500, it can place you slightly lower or even slightly higher than your lowest score. If you do exceptionally well, it can even place you higher than 3600, though this is rare.

No because your mmr stays the same, drop to 3k and you will be playing against people of 3.6k, and get placed around 3.6k

I dropped from 3650 to 3000 (decay) last season and then I got 3500 in placements
