Hi everyone I need some help I have a evo 850boot and a wd hard drive, recently I bought a 960 pro to add to the storage but after I installed it and went into the bios my 850 disappeared where it was only letting me to select to boot from the wd or the 960. Tried everything I could think of and eventually removed the 960 and my 850 came back. Can anyone help me fix this?
If it matters I have a Asus z97-e.

When you plug up your m2 you lose sata ports, plug the 850 into a different sata slot

Like you might have sata 1234 and plugging in your m2 takes away the 34 and your 850 is in 34, might have to move it over to 12

Simply move your ssd sata connection to another slot

May have to allocate it/format it in disk management too. I had the same issue with my z97 board

Go to the boot priority and make sure the right drives are selected
