Hi all, I've never played the original Destiny but after persuasion from friends I've placed a pre-order for the game. Is there anything I should know about the previous game before the beta/launch (I'm not gonna get it, I don't use my 360 enough to warrant buying Gold)? If so, is there some sort of collection/archive I can refer to?

Doubt you need to have played D1 to have fun in D2. Tons of YouTube vids on D1 though

head up if you play W.o.w you can buy destiny 2 with in game gold and dlcs tooo

Oh man the Destiny is great. I really wish you could play the first game. You might not understand some stuff in Destiny 2, for example the first two expansions have something to do with Rasputin the last warmind and the Warlock Osiris.
