Before you get too far into it, just a suggestion;

If you need to stay with a free platform use WordPress.com .

If there's a chance it grows and you want to take it more seriously you'll be upgrading to use a self hosted WordPress.org site.

So you may as well get familiar with the WP platform.

(Don't think this is the right group for this though)
