****HELP****
My rig crashed about 4 times playing Far Cry 4 last night. I reset the overclock on the GPU back to factory and carried on trouble free browsing youtube for another hour or so then it crashed agin. My CAM hardware monitor reported a temp spike in both CPU & GPU at the point of it crashing. 86.7 degrees on the CPU & 77 degrees on the GPU
I am now getting this straight after the Gigabyte bios screen. Any ideas? Spec below
GIGABYTE 990FX UD3 R5
AMD 95-90 (BASE CLOCK 4.7ghz)
16GB 1833MHZ HYPER X DDR3 RAM
XFX RX-480 GTR 8GB GPU (OC to 1360mhz)
CORSAIR H105
CORSAIR CX750M
WINDOWS 10 ON KINGSTON 120GB SSD

Maybe CPU is being overheated. Have you took off the cooler and reapplied thermal paste?

Mine won't run if the turbo clock is enabled. It's a know issue but an annoying one. Can't handle FSX with a few add-ons. Shits it's self when I try X Plane 11

Temp spikes high enough and fast enough will force a shutdown. I'm interested to know what the voltage was to both at the time of the spike.
