Have decided to build our own PC, what's a great build for $1,000? I'd really like to go with AMD Ryzen if possible. We need it for of course gaming, as well as streaming. Video recording and editing. Also everyday functions.

This would be okay, though if you had the extra money I'd opt for an SSD for a boot drive too. As far as video editing goes, PP doesn't car what GPU you have, just as long as you have one.

8700k with 16gb of Ram and a 1060 6b in a cheap case. Wait till the GPU market dies down in Mid January before investing in high end graphics.

about 200 left to choose an SSD, and a different case if you want. You can get a 1600 if you want. It will save you about 40$ I think.
