Vega isn't making a good initial showing at all. We do all know that drivers will improve it by at least 10-15% overall, but that will only bring it fully inline with GTX 1080, not ahead of it where it needs to be threatening GTX 1080 Ti, which it clearly is incapable of achieving, but doesn't have to either.
I do think we will see a NICE improvement from the proper gaming version of Vega when it comes out along with better drivers, but yes, I agree, Rahul Madhwani, this is the not the best first showing for AMD's newest GPU at all. It really needed to come out swinging a lot harder than this.
