For those of you thinking about upgrading to coffee lake, are you going to try to purchase one of the CPUs the day of release or wait a few days so you can read more reviews/benchmarks? I have a 4790 non K and really have an itch to upgrade, but I never purchased a CPU right when it was released (or within a year of release for that matter). I just don't know if I should be patient or not. Been looking at the 8700k, but don't want to upgrade if the performance increase isn't much considering I'll need a new Mobo and ddr4 memory. All I do is game really. Also have a 1080ti if that helps. Thanks in advance!

If you just game and nothing else really imo it’s not worth it to have to upgrade all that, atleast not right now

If the leaks are true it would be a very large upgrade for your u. Hell I'm thinking about it and I have 7700k lol
