Save your tokens for when you hit 265+

wait till 240 b4 you use tokens they will get u about to 265 or so when u reach 268 or 270 start doing your powerful milestones then ur planet quests that leads to exotics then wait for next week u will probably be in 275 to 280

Heroic public events with a fireteam and you and your team using medallions will get you to ~265 then hit up milestones for weekly powerful rewards for 265+
