Because of prices of video cards right now what does everyone think of running a 2400g and using that until gpus come down in price? Also what do you think of pairing a 2400g with a gtx 1080 vs a 1600x?
The 2400g with 2x8GB of Trident Z 3200Mhz is REALLY fast for an APU, just don't skimp out on the ram quality. We're talking 70-80 fps in Overwatch and 50-60 fps in PUBG when properly configured at 1920x1080.
If you feel you want a better cpu at a later time, you could always swap the cpu for a 2600x or 2700 (Zen+).
