I think 1080p 144hz is the sweetspot for 1070 , also get tn monitor if you only game they are cheap , have worse color yet the best response time

Well If you don't have a budget problem then 1440p is the most suitable for 1070

I can run quite a few games with a 1070 at 4k 30fps, forza runs at 60fps, but 2160 is the sweet spot
