If you wanna be a better character artist, those are the two best references out there. It covers everything you need for figure drawing. Also, if you wanna get better, surround yourself with people who aren't afraid to tell you that you work sucks. It builds character. Your coloring work is great, but your line work and proportions need major improvement. You'll get better through practice. I also suggest doing some independent study on muscles and bones. VisualBody's Atlas of the Human Body is an amazing resource. It's like 30 bucks and it's available across all platforms.
