This was my first competitive season, I’m a high silver/low gold Mercy/D.Va main- I’m looking for tips. When I play with my friends we lose frequently but when I solo queue I generally win. Obviously not playing with my friends is out of the question, as they’re the reason I play this game, so what precisely could I be doing to help them climb with me?

Get new friends. Lol.

Better team comps/counters. Better strategy. Make sure to group up, don't trickle in. Keep practicing.

Some of your friends probably also insist on playing dps and enemy players aren't dying, maybe convince them to tank or support.
