The Flash Features Lots of Heroes and Restarts the DCEU The Flash producer Barbara Muschietti revealed during a DC FanDome Q&A panel with fans that the movie -- starring Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck, and Michael Keaton -- will feature multiple comic book superheroes in its ensemble. The movie, to be directed by IT's Andy Muschietti, will also "restart" the DCEU even as it won't erase what's come before it. Inspired by the Flashpoint saga from the DC Comics, The Flash is slated for release June 2, 2022.
