You could run 2x 8gb ram and drop the price a bit.

The PSU is a bit overpowered IMO. You could run a 500 or 550 and be fine.

You could also find a cheaper GPU.

However, these are all price based and I run on a budget. If you don't then I don't see a problem with the build.

Looks good, Check out the Strix, I think they are worth the little increase from the Prime on Z270. They are all the same VRM though. I like the ASRock Z270 Gaming i7 as well. Very decent boards. The Aurous 7 and up are pretty good as well. With the G9 having a pretty beastly power setup. If you are into that. Check out the H7 or the dark rock pro3 for the cooler! May be a little better.

Are you doing any 4k video editing or such?

If so that PCIe SSD is a good call, but if youre only doing gaming clips and such, it's complete overkill.

You could save a few bucks and just get a Sata SSD.

Take all that money you save (SSD/Ram/psu) and upgrade to a 1080 maybe?
