So, my sister's laptop is showing this on the screen, and she wanted me to take a look at it, anyone have an idea on what might be causing it and any possible fixes, if any?

Looks like either dead pixels or physical LCD damage. Or even maybe a bad GPU but I doubt that. Either way its not a cheap fix.
