So my optical drive cable had fallen out somehow so I plugged it back in and I was only getting 8gigs of ram when I have 16 so I just took both my sticks out and put them back in just to see if that worked. Now when I turn my PC on it makes this noise and its really disturbing.

Does anyone know why its doing this or what's doing this?

Look up "beep codes" for your motherboard and it'll tell you what that beep means.

Have you tried unhooking the optical drive again altogether?
