So my daughter and her friend each have an iPad and plays Minecraft on their tablets and when in same room and on same WiFi they can join in each other’s worlds...

I bought her friend and my daughter Minecraft on the switch as he already had a switch and she’s getting one for Christmas.. if my daughter brings her switch over, can they play in same world together on their switches as well ?

Yes indeed, and even the same world on the switch as their friend is in on iPad, android, or pc or xbox, as long as they sign in with their usual Xbox live details

Yeah they can. If they are friends on the switch they can play on their switches at separate houses just as long as they are connected to wifi
