So, Keyboard and mouse quit working for no reason after windows 7 loads. But the keyboard works in the bios? I tried reinstalling drivers before the mouse stopped working but reinstalling my keyboard driver made my mouse fail.

Sounds like a USB issue not keyboard driver issue

If the board is all USB 3 then u might have an issue there

Restarted my pc and my keyboard works. Tried to run chkdsk in command prompt but apparently I dont have "sufficient privileges" on the administrative user account.... might be malware related?

Ran chkdsk. Says my drives are fine with no errors or bad sectors.
