Have this card paired with an R1600x. Love it to bits. You should have no problem at all running any game you want at high/ultra settings at 1080p with at least 60fps.

I have the same card, did a step up from the EVGA 1070, great card and I got it for $509 at the time

you are right for ditching the 1070ti for the 1080. but if your case fits the strix, i recommend it. it runs super cool and looks sexy AF.
