So I installed a new mobo and ram into my desktop and its all up and running but it says I have to activate windows now. I do own windows it came on the computer when I bought it so I rather not have to buy it again what do I do?

Do a windows support live chat and have them remote Connect and activate it that way. Worked for me

Windows is tied to the hardware it came with - OEM. Now it's not OEM.
