So fast question... With the delay I was thinking of starting a dedi server just to starting build my community locations and maybe transferring the saved data over to my nitrado server once they do fully release... Is this a thing or would I have to fully start over on the nitrado server?

I don't see how you should be able to upload the savegame so I think you have to start over.
But since they said one would be able to download the legacy servers with release of the rented servers, it might be possible. And also, you got enough time to do it so I would try it lol

No way to transfer. You will have to start over. Ignore anyone saying otherwise unless they have sources (they don't).
