Nothing really, 7700k has more problems with higher temps than necesairy cause Intel cheaped out

The 7700 and 6700 are basically the same. So don't even worry about it.

Still one of the best cpus for gaming out there, so I wouldn't worry about any negative comments

I've had my 6700k for just over a year now. I have had absolutely no issues out of it so far. I'm able to stream and game at the same time with no issues. I'm very happy with my choice. I'm sure you will be too.

And why would be a problem??? If it fits your needs it's ok.
It's 2018 and I am still gaming on x58 platform... Why ??? Because it runs all games well beyond 60 fps. I only upgrade GPU-S through the years...

Its a bit expensive, compared to 7700 but still very good.
