1050 non-Ti is useless for gaming. Even a laptop variant or hell a regular 1050Ti is on the lower limits of acceptable performance.

Graphics card more relevant if the purpose is gaming. A quad core i5 is just fine or of it's a 6 core i5 that's even better.

I have an i7 with a 1050 and for me it does great as a gaming laptop, but I also upgraded from a desktop with a phenom processor with a GTX 465 lol
