Lifeweaver, the newest hero to join Overwatch 2, adds some potent new tools to the game, and many players have found creative new methods to combine these abilities with their teammates' Ultimates, giving them larger the advantages. Professional support players in Overwatch 2 have undeniably shown that this new character has the potential to be a game-changer in matches, even though some of Lifeweaver's own skills have shown to be an efficient way to mislead teammates. In the game, players can prepare an ample amount of Overwatch 2 Coins.

Coming to Overwatch 2 with the release of Season 4, Lifeweaver is a support hero that has quickly captured the attention of players in the weeks since its announcement. While his healing abilities may not be on par with others in the support category, his ease of use makes him a standout character. His Life Grip ability - undoubtedly his most controversial power - allows him to teleport allies great distances. While this provides a great way to rescue teammates in dangerous situations, it has proven to be a source of frustration for some Overwatch 2 players who are disrupted by Lifeweaver disrupting their game. His other main ability, his petal platform, provides a way to easily lift teammates to higher ground while also blocking certain routes to enemies.

Combined with his questionable passive ability, which can potentially reward enemy flankers and divers with extra health, it's safe to say that Lifeweaver is a hit-or-miss type of hero in Overwatch 2, depending on the player controlling him. That said, skilled Weaver players often have the opportunity to make some of their teammates' ultimates more effective on the battlefield, as demonstrated in a popular thread shared by user CherylSimp recently on Reddit. This clip specifically shows how a well-timed Life Grip at the start of an ally's ultimate animation can push an ally - in this case, allowing Junkrat to use their Rip Tire to quickly close the gap and finish off a close-range team strike at close range kill.

Other players have provided several other ways that Fateweaver can effectively synergize with other heroes in Overwatch 2. A popular example often seen in games is Lifeweaver's petal platform, which provides a significant height advantage to Cassidy players using Deadeye, giving damage heroes a greater chance of taking down multiple unsuspecting enemies.

Fans have provided a lot of feedback on Lifeweaver since the character's debut in Season 4, and the developers seem to be already working on implementing player feedback on some of the hero's abilities. One of the biggest complaints right now has to do with the hero's unintuitive controls, where players have to use the "Switch Weapon" key to switch between his damage and heal instead of getting both heal and damage like other heroes. Many circulating ideas suggested ways that Overwatch 2 heroes' Life Grip could be made more pop-proof, leaving fans wondering how heroes might continue to change in the future.
