Okay so, I tried all last season trying to climb out of bronze. (Didn’t happen.)
My husband and I did our placements & we lost 3 of them.
I placed bronze, he placed gold. How does that happen?!

Well on every game but 2 I had gold elims, objective & hero damage.
I play D.VA. He was playing junkrat. He didn’t do his placements last season so he wasn’t ranked.

What I hate about comp: I play a hard game, and I win with four gold medals. You know how much my SR goes up? Two points. Then I️ lose one and it goes down 55. I quit after that. Pisses me off.

It goes by how well you did and what you placed last season and I believe your season high, so if he was tearing it up and you were kinda just hanging in back it makes perfect sense
