Ok am looking at getting the Ryzen 1700 to replace my I7 6700k for workstation/gaming setup. I currently do a little video editing with plans to do a lot more and do a lot of photoshop work for my graphics design course at school. What am wondering will it be better at video editing and photoshop will it be better at gaming with a Asus gtx 1080. If it isn't better how much of a decrease will I get in gaming.

Current Specs:
I7 6700k
Asus z170 Deluxe motherboard.
16 GB ram
Asus GTX 1080
2 TB WD Black
240 GB SSD

Its not really worth changing tho. Not unless you're desperately rich and waste some money.
