Newbie Question:I currently have 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24) and planning to get another 8gb stick 2x4gb would it work as long as they have the same speed(mhz)?

P.S buying a new 16gb is too pricey for me

Even ifnyou get faster ram itl jst downclock to match the slower stuff. Almost any ddr3 will work with it
