Merry Christmas everyone. I have a question if anyone can help. I got a 144hz monitor today and it's display port is not working and I can't for the life of me figure out why. Hdmi works but will only let me choose up to 60hz. Anyone happen to know the solution?

Mess with settings under physx/surround under nvidia control panel. (Turn on and off)

I have a 1080, they have monitor recognition problems. For some reason this helps. Helps to have 2nd monitor in this situation

When I first started using DP I didn’t realize that the connector clicks into place and to release it you have to squeeze the tab on the top of it. The little bay separators where the GPU connections stick out were in the way and not letting the connector snap into place. I had to jack with it quite a bit to get it seated.
