Mario odyssey question. I have some vision challenges at the moment and cannot tackle fast action. So I’ve been playing stardew. Low motion basically. Because right now I get dizzy with motion. I have to view at my own speed. Is Mario fast paced?

Not really. You can take it slow through levels

It depends on your idea of fast and also varies from level to level. Some are super fast. Plenty you can stroll through.

You can progress through a level at your own pace, but boss battles involve fast action that might be a challenge for you.
