You may have gotten your money's worth in terms of hours played, but it makes this game and it's potential no less of a tragedy.

Expectations were set for a living, breathing, ongoing universe from the start. We were promised ten year plans and to not worry about the character classes players put a thousand hours into. Then the monetization and lies began, and your characters left behind for a number 2 slapped on a box to up-sale us all again.

Personally it makes the hours I put in even more regrettable.
