I've got a question for everyone! Building a new server soon, and I'm looking at an Xeon E-5 1620 v3 and an ASRock X99 Extreme4 LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 mobo
The mobo supports Xeon processors and registered ECC RAM
My Question is:
Do all Xeons support ECC Registered (buffered) RAM? I Can't seem to find much info on registered/unregistered support with Xeons, so I assume they all do support it, but I want to make sure.

Pic of my rig for attention

Yeah, in most cases it all depends on the mobo chipset that you're using. If the board allows both go ahead~ but usually it's either one or the other.

Mono cpu : ecc & ecc reg (depending of the motherboard and the socket)
Multi cpu: ecc reg only
