Is using an 8pin (connected to PSU) that splits into to 6 pins + 2 pins ( 2x 8 pin) connected to the Graphic Card will power up the gtx 1080ti strix that requires two 8 pin.

I have a quality psu

Tt 850w Modular 80plus Gold Certified. But Die to my case cable management and routing I am thinking of this solution.

Some Says it will work since same 12V rail on a good PSU will handle it.

As i understand you want to power a gpu from single x8 psu rail? If so, check the label on the psu if that rail can handle the power required.
