not unless you are doing 3 on screen stretch. gaming with 2 puts the bezel right in the middle of the game. if you mean to game on 1 and do other stuff on the 2nd a 1080 is just fine

Think 28's are perfect. Put the on monitor mounts and you wont regret it. 28's are not as big as they sound if you're getting widescreen.
