Xbox One Is anyone else having trouble taming a pegomastax? My taming bar keeps going to 0...

Is anyone else having trouble taming a pegomastax? My taming bar keeps going to 0 after it grabs the first / second time. I have a bout 1000 mejos on my person but I slit one from the stack and put it in my last hot bar slot, and let it steal it & repeat, am I doing something wrong? Help !

Put 20-25 in your last slot on hotbar

Dododex says 20-25, my taming kept dropping faster than it would steal, I've tamed 5 high levels in the last few days using 45 to 50 mejos at a time with perfect results.

Feed in stacks of like 50 mejos at a time. Gets tamed pretty fast

No matter what the taming bar drops back to 0% b4 it feeds again

I'm trying to im at 60% taming but it keeps going back down more that it's gaining
