Delidded and monoblocked it, my workstation is getting 4.9ghz all cores with no avx offset @ 1.264V. (7980xe)

A delid procedure with LM application will bring your temps way down, you'll run cooler even with extra voltage, should be able to reach 4.8-4.9 at least with decent cooling...

I delid the occasional Skylake-X, here's one of the last one's I did. Don't see too many 7980XE's though....
